My kids don’t like t brush their teeth, unless it’s fun. If we sing or dance they’re all about it, and even brush their teeth lonber. I guess I can’t blame them, it’s easier as an adult to do things we don’t particularly enjoy when it’s fun! I’m super excited to have the opportunity to share this sponsored post from Arm & Hammer™ with you, because I have the chance to share a few tips to make brushing fun for kids. With four children, I have a few tricks up my sleeve, but none is as cool as the new Arm & Hammer™ Toothbrushes we received for this post.
8 Ways Parent Can Help Make Brushing Fun For Kids
If you’re looking for ways to make brushing fun for kids here are a few things I have tried with my kids.
- Brushing together – Not only is brushing together more fun, it gives you a chance to supervise your child’s tooth brushing skills, and be certain they are brushing the correct way. Be sure your child sees you brushing twice daily, because they will likely try to copy you, which is great if we’re talking about brushing teeth.
- Have fun – its okay for you to have fun while brushing too! In addition, it allows your children to see that they can brush and have fun too. Whether it’s a goofy dance, brushing song, or war of the bubbles in my house is one of the kids favorite brushing games.
- Contest – Why not turn bruising into a contest? Some kids are competitive, like my Mattie, by turning brushing into a contest it made her want to win. I didn’t tell her that her sister didn’t care whether she won or not lol.
- Brush to music – Music makes everything more fun.
- Rewards – Putting reward system for brushing into place.
- Brushing your teeth – Allow them to brush your teeth. As parents we want to be certain our kids get their teeth clean, by letting them brush our teeth we’re making things more fun, and they’ll be more receptive to the idea of us brushing their teeth. It’s more of a game, thank mom chcking pup
- Toothpaste – Let them choose their toothpaste. There are so many flavors, and everyone has different taste.
- Toothbrush matters – Did you know that kids brush 38% longer when they use a Spinbrush™ battery-powered toothbrush? Yes, they most certainly do, I read it on the Arm & Hammer™ website.
Spinbrush™ Battery Powered Toothbrush – Helping Kids Brush Longer!
We received a NEW Spinbrush™ My Way! Major League Baseball brush, which is fabulous! It allows children to personalize their Spinbrush™ with awesome baseball stickers. Naturally, it makes brushing more fun than ever. I’m a little jealous, because I want a personalized toothbrush! DANG IT, the kids get everything cool. It’s not fair, being a grown up stinks!

Most of you are aware my son is handicap, and he was SUPER excited to learn he had a Spinbrush™ Super Mario™ Battery Powered Toothbrush. I left the living room for a few mins and come back to Mattie brushing Buds teeth! OMG, in the livingroom there was toothpaste bubbles all over the place because bud was laughing and Mattie was yelling because she couldn’t get his teeth right when he laughed. I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry, or just run away and act like I never saw anything. Hey what are little sisters for right!

Gosh, with Halloween right around the corner, I’m glad they have fun, cool, new toothbrushes to brush their teeth, and help give them a whiter brighter smile!
