There’s nothing more awesome than having a nice, clean home, in my opinion. Too bad all those cleaning products cost money. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could save money on all those must-have cleaning products? Good news! There are ways to save money on cleaning products for your house. Whether it’s for your bathroom or kitchen, there are ways to save. Here are a few tips to help you save money when cleaning your house. I hope they help!
Maintain Your Home
Doing a little something every day will help reduce the need to use so many cleaners. If you get things cleaned up right, it’s likely you will be able to get them cleaned up with water, dish soap, or laundry detergent. If left untreated, it’s likely you’re going to need to buy something stronger. It not only helps with saving on cleaning supplies, but it will also cut down on the stress of having to speed up all-day cleaning.
Store Brand
Now, there are some cleaning products I’m picky about. However, I will try the store brand if it’s less expensive. I have found more often than not that store brand cleaners work just as well as name brands, and you can save a decent amount of money. You can always compare ingredients to the name of the of the brand.. More and more store brands are cleaning, just as well as the name-brand cleaners that you spend more on.
Coupons
I love coupons, coupon codes, and all that jazz. You can save a decent amount of money if you stick with coupons. It seems like there are always great coupons for cleaning products. If you don’t have a coupon, the manufacturers often have coupons on their website, Facebook page, or somewhere online.
Simplify
Buy cleaners that do more than one job. Rather than buying something especially for your counters, buy a multipurpose cleaner to clean more areas.
Make Your Own
There are a lot of cleaners that you can make yourself if you have everything you need. Baking power does wonders on almost anything.
Control the Clutter
This is going to help you look and feel better. Removing all that unwanted and unneeded clutter from your house means one thing. You have less to clean, and that’s always a good thing.
Buy in Bulk
If you have a large family like we do, buying bulk is another option to help you save money on different products that you use often. Laundry detergent, bleach, and floor care products are things that I buy in bulk because we need more of them to save me trips to the store, money, and time. If you’re looking for somewhere to buy in bulk, be sure to visit Worldwide Janitor. They have everything you will need to keep your home clean, as well as specialized products that will help keep your home or workplace sparkling.
Worldwide Janitor is based in New Orleans, and they carry some of the more popular products that are not available at other stores online, in some cases even at local stores. If you live on the Gulf Coast, you might have heard of Snee Chemical products. They carry Snee Chemicals as well as everything from laundry detergent to paper towels.

I agree. Baking soda is inexpensive. I use it to clean the fridge and microwave.I always use coupons and try to buy when there’s a sale. The only store brand item I won’t use dish soap. I need to use way too much of it.
I’m a “Neat Freak” when it comes to cleaning the house. Cleaning products can become expensive. I checked out Worldwide Janitor and they have great stuff!! Not only that but I can have them delivered to my front door. Saves the hassle of going to the store. These are good cleaning tips for cleaning Jenn. Thanks…
Great tips! Always looking for ways to save money. Thanks.
The last two ideas can sometimes be mutually exclusive – I think the key is to buy in bulk if it’s something you have a plan to use within a reasonable time frame and have a place to store in the meantime!
I usually buy brand cleaning products but I could try store brand products to save some money. The only cleaning product I would stick with the brand is Pinesol. I love how it smells! I definitely have some de-cluttering to do!
great tips, i always try the dollar store as well as big lots as well. dollar stores now take coupons….i try to not use chemicals b/c of my 3 dogs….
I like your tips and I do buy more when there is a sale. I just have to be careful not to overstock
I’ve found a lot of uses for vinegar. I was always afraid to try making my own, but it’s really not that bad
