October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month; this post is sponsored by the wonderful people at Skechers who have joined the fight against breast cancer, with the Skechers Breast Cancer Awareness shoes.  Skechers is creating breast cancer awareness with their NEW Skechers Awareness Product Line to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society.  Breast Cancer is scary, because it’s the most common cancer among women in the United States.  It’s also a reminder to why it’s important for me to do my part by rasing breast cancer awareness, as well as focus on living an active healthy lifestyle for myself and my family.

You may already know I’ve been focusing on a healthier lifestyle for my family and myself, and staying motivated to exercise isn’t always easy, but if you’re committed and in the right frame of mind you can do it, and even enjoy it.  I am proud of myself, and my family for the lifestyle changes we have made.  We’ve always been pretty healthy, but there is always room for improvement.  After my daughter was born, returning to work was stressful for me, because I wanted to be home with my daughter.  I developed a negative attitude, and with the negative attitude everything else negative followed.

Skechers Breast Cancer Awareness ShoesThe day I left my job, I left that life, the unhappy, and most importantly the negative me behind.  I changed my outlook on life, got rid of the unhealthy habits one by one, and made a commitment to myself to get up and move daily.  I don’t go running every single day, but I do get up and move, because I like the person I am when I’m moving.  By finding the motivation every single day to get up and move in some way, I feel good about myself, my lifestyle choices, and where I’m going.  I hae also committed to dropping the weight I put on, and it feel good.  I get up and move every single day for myself, and my family, because I want a healthy lifestyle and to be around for as many years as possible.  I get up and move everyday for myself and my family.

Are you in a place where you need some motivation to exercise, or get up and move?  Hey, it’s totally okay, it happens to all of us, especially when you’re not used to the lifestyle.  Everyone has their own personal reason, which could be a pair of the NEW Skechers Breast Cancer Awareness shoes.  I recently received a pair of Skechers GOrun Sprint Awareness shoes, which not only remind me, but motivate and inspire me to get up and move for my own personal reasons, but also those diagnosed with breast cancer!

Sketchers Breast Cancer Awareness ShoesEvery single time I look down, and see my new awareness shoes it reminds me why I should get up and move, and who I should do it for.  Whether you know someone personally, or heard of someone diagnosed with breast cancer it touches you, because we are in this fight together!  I know several people who have had breast cancer, and thankfully they’re all survivors because sadly, not everyone makes it.

I receive a pair of Skechers GOrun Sprint Awareness shoes, which are super cute, but more importantly support an amazing cause – Breast Cancer Awareness.  When I wear my Skechers GOrun Sprint Awareness shoes I am wearing them for every women who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and to help fight to end breast cancer.

The Skechers GOrun Sprint Awareness shoes are comfortable, lightweight, have great insoles, traction, and support – but most importantly, they help promote breast cancer awareness.  To add a little icing on the cake, the Skechers Pink Shoes are super cute!

We already know how important having great shoes to working in are, right?  Great shoes help complement your healthy living practice.  If you walk daily, you’re going to need good shoes to walk or run in so your feet don’t hurt, and so you can’t use your shoes as an excuse for not walking or running when you have committed to doing so.  Comfortable and supportive shoes are extremely important, it’s a must have for anyone who wants to be active.  None of us have time for foot problems, or the pain that comes along with it so be sure you have good shoes, like Skechers breast cancer awareness shoes.

Some of my favorite shoes have always been Skechers, but I like them even more because of the Sketcher breast cancer awareness shoes.  Knowing Skechers has joined the fight to end breast cancer gives me a completely new respect for the brand.  I know the main motivation behind the shoes are to support an amazing cause, but it’s also to help inspire women to live healthier lifestyles.

Breast cancer isn’t to be taken lightly, and it’s a scary thing happening to more women than it should.  Whether you know someone who has been affected by breast cancer, or you know of someone who has, it’s reason enough to put on a pair of shoes and join the fight to end breast cancer.

Breast cancer is something we all take serious, by partnering with Skechers I’m helping raise awareness, and every time I put on my Skechers Breast Cancer Awareness Shoes I’m reminded of every women I have not only known, but known of diagnosed with breast cancer.  I don’t’ think you have to know someone personally to want to help, or want to do your part to join the fight to stop Breast Cancer.  I’m a women, and that’s reason enough to join the fight.
