I recently had the opportunity to watch Despicable Me 2 on Blu-ray thanks to the super awesome people at Click Communications, and it’s awesome! I didn’t see this one in theaters for a few reasons, and to be honest, I was really upset because I love the first one so much. There’s something about those little yellow minions that is just fun! I don’t know what they are saying, but they always make me laugh.
I always tend to tell too much about the movies, and I have told myself I wouldn’t do that anymore because I always get so upset with my husband when he spills the beans. I want to watch; I want the funny parts to be funny, and if there is a sad part that’s going to make me cry, don’t tell me because I will sit waiting for it.
If you liked the first Despicable Me, then I’m sure you will love this one. If you enjoy funny, cute, and fun movies, I am sure you will enjoy them. Personally, I thought it was more fun than the first one, but my husband, on the other hand, did enjoy Despicable Me 2, but he thought the first one was better. I guess it’s just a matter of opinion, but we did both agree that it was good; we both laughed right alongside the kids, and we both had an amazing family movie night with the kids.
In my opinion, any movie that is able to satisfy a toddler, 6-year-old, 8-year-old, or 15-year-old mom and dad on family movie night gets two thumbs up! Don’t you agree?
I have more good news for those of you who love those wild and crazy minions as much as I do. So be sure to keep reading!
In celebration of Despicable Me 2 making its way to Blu-ray and DVD on December 10, 2013, the wild and crazy Minions were let loose in New York City yesterday! Maybe you noticed them if you live there; they were the big yellow guys that make you smile. Well, for those of you who missed them, like me, here are some fun images of the Minions let loose in the Big Apple, as well as what sounds pretty yummy, the Minion Munch Chex Mix recipe!
While the super yellow Minions were in New York they did all kinds of fun stuff those lucky little Minions! They visited the Magnolia Bakery, where they made cupcakes for the occasion, Central Park, FAO Schwarz, Rockefeller Plaza, Time Square, the Theater District, and Macy’s Department Store. They were inducted into the Gray Line’s Ride of Fame with their very own bus too! How awesome, and here’s a video for you to check out the fun…
Don’t forget you can get Despicable Me 2 on Blu-ray and DVD on December 10th, 2013! Yepie! Be sure to check out our Minions brownies, so much fun.
Have you seen Despicable Me 2? If so, what did you think? Would you recommend it to your family and friends?

This was a great movie – we saw it in the theaters and even though I liked the first one, this one is better. I will be trying to find it to buy it – my daughters loved it too!
