Soon the kids be heading back to school, but first parents have to get the kids back in their school routine, go back to school shopping, and get back in a routine themselves.. Say good-bye to summer
Plan something fun you can do as a family before the school year starts so you can saygood- bye to summer. We are taking the kids on a little vacation, nothing fancy, just two nights away from home. It’s our cy-ya later summer last vacation of the year.
Get excited
I love my kids being home with me during the summer, and it’s hard for me to send them back to school. Rather than being upset, I think about all the things I will be able to be done. One of my favorites is spring cleaning in the fall. Don’t you know my house needs some TLC after a summer with kids?
Routine
I make myself get back into the school routine, which once I get used to it I love getting up early and starting my day. I admit, the kids are not the only ones who have been spoiled.
Out with the old
Is there something you have wanted to do? Maybe get healthier? Whatever it is, plan to start with the school year. It’s a great time when your routine is changing, and the kids are back in school. Plan to start that diet you have put on, or heading to the gym.
Have fun back to school shopping
Have fun with back to school shopping! Seriously, it doesn’t have to be a drag, get yourself something cute too. Maybe, a new Hello Kitty pillow or a Hello Kitty Eva Lamp for your bedroom. You’re never too old for Hello Kitty.
We are redoing my daughters room in Hello Kitty, and it’s official, we even bought the pink paint yesterday. Oh, and there is some great items for back-to-school. We received two super cute Hello Kitty outfits, 3 notebooks, 3 folders, and an awesome art set for the kids. I honestly figured the school stuff would have gone to Mattie, without trouble, but boy was I wrong.
I had to split the notebooks, even my 15-year-old daughter is loving Hello Kitty, we also split the folder, flipped a coin for the backpack. Oh, and get this I had to kick Vayda out of Mattie Hello Kitty pants, because they were too small. I guess she assumed it was okay because she could stretch them? I am honestly, not sure, but I was a little upset, because I told the girls they had to wait for school to get the cloths, even little Jess who has a few years until school starts had to wait. I was trying to be fair, but come to find out Jess is the only one who hadn’t got into her Hello Kitty stuff from Walmart. It’s only because she is too little to grab them while I am not looking.
