Three Reasons We’re Loving #Outlander

WOW, tell me you haven’t heard of the Outlander series yet? If you haven’t watched Outlander yet, you should, because it’s a great show, and the fan base is growing week after week, because everyone is falling in love with the Outlander series.

You might remember the post I wrong a while back about this awesome new show called Outlander! It’s an awesome series, and if you haven’t already been watching than you’re missing out. In the first post we promised no spoilers, but things have heated up a bit, and the season is in full swing.

It takes a whole lot to get me to sit down and watch a movie, and a weekly TV series it’s unlikely you will catch me in front of the TV each week at a certain time, but I have been bit by the Outlander bug, and you’ll find me watching it every single week, with my husband too!

I can think of plenty of reasons to watch Outlander, but here’s the top three reasons you find me in front of the TV week after week, wanting more Outlander. Oh, and I totally wish each week’s series was 90 minutes long, lol.

Claire – I can’t help it, I love Claire. She gets better and better with every episode that passes. She clever, quick-witted, and keeping me smiling. She’s a fun character, and she’s fun. I think her character bio says it nicely, “The quick-witted, stubborn but lovely, English “Sassenach” Claire, is a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743. Upon her arrival, she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser.”

the outlander on starzJamie Fraser – Oh, come on who can go without mentioning Jamie Fraser, he’s such a handsome man and I enjoy every moment Jamie is on-screen.

The story, the history, and the setting – If you haven’t watched it, WOW it’s a must see. I had the opportunity to watch a little of Outlander before it aired on Starz, and I was hooked at that moment, and the bad thing was I had to wait even longer to watch an episode I hadn’t seen. It’s a great story, my husband enjoys the history, the Scottish countryside helps you feel as if you have been taken back in time along with Claire, and as the story progresses I find myself more and more on edge awaiting the next episode more than the one before. The fan base is growing, and it’s because Outlander is an outstanding show.

There are so many reasons to watch Outlander, but you have to watch it for yourself to find out why you’re an Outlander fan.

Oh, and this week’s episode of Outlander is going to be a good one!
