Have you heard about Kids CWIST for Kids?  If not, it’s an awesome program that I just know you’re going to want to learn more about and have your child take part in.  Not only that, it’s a great way to teach your child the true meaning of Christmas, and let them feel first hand how wonderful giving is.

You might remember a blog post I wrote a while back about Creative Parenting with CWIST, well they’re doing something awesome for the holidays and I just have to share it with you. For a fun holidays twists, Kids CWIST for Kids charitable initiative connects a parent and their child to a child in need. I’m totally doing this with my kids too, it’s AWESOME! Check it out.

Parents can now assign their child CWISTs to complete, but rather than your child receiving a reward, there will be a gift donated to a child in need. Yes, a child who’s family is struggling this holiday season and cannot afford to purchase gifts for their kids. To make things even better, CWIST will be donating the first $2,000 in toys earned by children for simply completing the CWISTs to family sponsoring charities.

Teaching children the true meaning of Christmas is important.  There is so much more to it than receiving gifts.  I think everyone should remember why we celebrate Christmas and if we are can help someone in need we should.  We never know what tomorrow holds, but we can help brighten someone’s life today.

This is a great way to teach your children the true meaning of Christmas. There is no feeling like giving, but to understand the feeling and emotions that come with helping others it’s something you have to feel first hand. That warm fuzzy feeling that you get from the holiday season is intensified by 1,000 when you remember what the holidays are truly about – giving!

How Do I Take Part In Kids CWIST for Kids?

It’s easy, simply visit the CWIST website here, have your child choose someone they want to help, and a “wish” and then assign your child with CWIST learning challenges to complete to earn a gift for a child who’s family is in need.

Kids can earn gifts for kids in need.  How cool is that?  I think it’s awesome, and a great way to not only teach our children more about the true meaning of Christmas, but let them experience just how amazing helping someone in need feels.

The Kids CWIST for Kids holiday campaign officially launched on Tuesday, for #GivingTuesday, but it’s okay because it will run up until Christmas. Share with your friends, family and people in your community. The more people involved the better Christmas will be for children in need!
I hope to see you on the CWIST Website Here.
