Have you been waiting for Thor: The Dark World? I recently had the chance to attend the red carpet premiere thanks to Disney and it was awesome.
First off, I have to say thank you to Marshal for inviting me and Disney for paying for my trip! I was fortunate enough to not only be one of the first people to see Thor: The Dark World, but I was also able to walk on the red carpet with some of my favorite stars from my favorite series of movies! I love Thor, and I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was to be able to attend this Thor: The Dark World Red Carpet Premier at the El Capitan Theatre!
If you read my post yesterday, I told you I would get better! There will be MUCH more pictures, and better ones too! Most of you probably remember I was lucky enough to stay at the Loews Hollywood Hotel; we could simply walk across the street to the premier.
If you thought I was excited in my post yesterday, you haven’t seen anything yet! OH MY GOSH, I ATTENDED THE RED CARPET PREMIERE FOR THOR: THE DARK WORLD! I walked on the same Red Carpet as Loki and Thor in their handsome, everyday form. I still don’t believe it, and the reason I typed that is caps is because I was seriously screaming while typing that. Standing up, pecking at the keyboard, fan girling, and jumping up and down because I am still that excited about it!
Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles! Which means all we had to do was walk across the street and we were on the Red Carpet for Thor: The Dark World! The moment we reached the street, all you could see were people—TONS OF PEOPLE! I knew from the looks of it this was going to be an amazing Red Carpet premiere!
Once we were up close enough to see the Red carpet, all you could see was camera’s flashing, and once we stepped on the carpet, those photographers were yelling for everyone to get out-of-the-way, so they were able to snap good shots of all the stars already on the carpet. Oh, I almost forgot Once we reached the Red carpet, I could feel my heart fall to my stomach because we walked right by the one and only Chris Hemsworth! Okay, so busted, I in no way almost forgot about that, haha!
Chris Hemsworth was spending time with his fans, giving out autographs, and just looking fabulous. I didn’t know what to do—should I stop and star?—because I was totally and completely star stuck, and FYI, even looking at the back of his head, HE’S HOT (don’t tell my husband, lol)! That’s right, it doesn’t matter what angle he is amazing! Once I was able to gather my thought, I snapped a shot of the back of his head. It’s better than nothing, and I was really that close to him! Man, look at the security guards around him.
Okay, once I made it passed Chris Hemsworth, I was able to reunite with my wonderful new friends Jenn from Five Dollar Shake and Pilar, who is a contributor at Babble.com and Fandango. I have to admit, this being my second Red Carpet Premier, I was much more comfortable and able to snap a few extra shots. Once Jenn, Pilar and I caught up with one another, we stopped for some pictures! I took a few shots of Jenn and Pilar; they are such beautiful and amazing ladies. I am lucky to have been able to spend this time with them!
After I snapped a few shots of Jenn and Pilar, they kindly returned the favor and took a few pictures of me soaking up my second Red Carpet Premier in two days! WOW, lucky lady right here! I must have done something super awesome somewhere down the line to have deserved this experience! There were some amazing stars at the Premier!
Once we made it in the El Capitan Theatre, we were given popcorn, an awesome Thor: The Dark World Cup, and some Thor: The Dark World 3D Glasses! Yes, we watched Thor: The Dark World In 3D, and it was amazing!
Our seats were up at the top of the theater, which was awesome; they were amazing seats! I noticed right away that it was set up completely differently from the previous night. They had the entire bottom section, where we had sat the night before, blocked off for all the big names that attended the Premier. We didn’t have to check out camera’s for this premier, but I didn’t want to be snapping pictures, and I wish I had a picture of the inside of the El Capitan Theatre for those of you who have not seen it. It’s beautiful, and I would love to share a picture with you. Maybe next time, if I am lucky enough to experience this type of event again (crossing fingers).
After the movie was over Jenn, Pilar and I stood around outside, just taking the experience in. Okay, and hanging out so we could congratulate a few of the actors that we saw walk out. They were all so nice, and Zachary Levi even went to spend time with all his fans that were calling his name the moment he walked out the door. I have to admit, it was really nice to see how much he appreciated his fans! He was taking pictures with them, giving out autographs and talking to every single fan that was waiting for him to walk out.
Since there were so many amazing people there, I decided to make a slide show for you to see for yourself. I tell you, but I would rather see pictures of what they were wearing and how they looked at the Red Carpet Premier. A huge thanks to Marshal from Disney for sharing these pictures with us.
Once they were all gone, Jenn, Pilar and I took one more picture! WOW, what an amazing night!
Thor: The Dark World Movie Review
Okay, if you thought the Red Carpet Premiere for Thor: The Dark World was amazing, the movie is out of this world. I have been waiting for this movie to come out since I watched The Avengers! If you have not had a chance to watch the first Thor and The Avengers, I highly suggest jumping on Netfilix or running to Red Box Right NOW! Yes, they are that good!
Now, about Thor: The Dark World!
To be honest, I am going to keep this short and sweet because I do not want to ruin the movie for anyone! I am going to tell you I liked Thor: The Dark World better than the first Thor; it’s amazing. To be honest, it doesn’t matter what kind of movie buff you are. Thor: The Dark World had plenty of action; it’s funny and emotional, and the end made me cry, but the very end left me wanting MORE THOR!
Thor and his gang of Asgardians come together for another fabulous film. Thor: The Dark World leaps back and forth between Earth and Asgard, and guess who finally meets Thor’s parents? Yes, Jane finally made it to Asgard to eventually meet the parents of the god of thunder, Thor. So how in the world does a human end up in Asgard? You will have to find out when you watch the movie, which releases today!
Who can forget about Thor’s power-hungry brother, Loki? That’s right, still up to no good, with his eyes on the throne even though he’s been banished for life. That is, until his brother shows up and requests his help, if you want to call it that anyway. Thor realizes that he needs Loki’s help, and by the looks of things, Loki is far more damaged than ever before. There is one part where Thor tells Loki he cannot trust him, and Loki responds with something like, “You would be the fool I always took you for; if you did, trust my rage brother.” Basically, letting Thor know he’s damaged and he cannot be trusted. Thor makes no bones about it; he will kill Loki if he betrays him. So what do you think? Will that threat alone stop Loki? Oh no, you have to watch the film! It’s out today, so I’m not leaving you hanging one bit! Go see it!
Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth work well together. They have great chemistry, and despite their differences in characters, you can still feel the love between the two of them. Thor wants so badly to be able to trust Loki and have his brother back, and for the first time in a long time, Loki actually seemed to care about Thor, which leaves me with a little hope. My favorite part of the film is watching Loki and Thor together! Okay, so that and watching Darcy’s (Kat Dennings) crazy rants, lol. Man, I love that crazy woman!
When you hear the title of the movie, Thor: The Dark World, funny doesn’t come to mind! Not for me anyway, but thanks to Tom Hiddleston and Kat Dennings, you will find yourself laughing often! I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this film; from start to finish, it’s amazing, and it’s a MUST SEE TODAY!
Thor: The Dark World is all that and a back of chips! Don’t miss it!

FYI: Be sure to watch the entire film; please sit down and enjoy everything from start to finish. That’s all I’m going to say—don’t get up and rush out of the theater!
