I am excited for Mother’s Day because Mattie is finally old enough to start understanding the whole holiday deal, but it also makes me want another baby NOW!! I really miss being a mom, and those itty bitty diapers when they are first born. When Mattie was born she is itty bitty, almost reaching 6 pounds. You would not know that by looking at her now, she is tall and skinny, a bean pole as her big sister says lol.
Before I had Mattie I was so scared and worried I was going to be a bad mom, or not do something right. Oh, or not know what to do, and all that scared me so bad. I wanted my husband to stay home with me, the thought of him leaving to go back to work for 12 hours a day scared me, but he did, and I learned to have a little more faith in myself. Becoming a mom changed me, for the better!
I also remember looking at Mattie, and gosh she was so little, and I love her so much. I remember my mom telling me how she felt about us, but there is no way to fully understand that love until you experience it. It’s the strongest, most unconditional love there is! It’s truly an amazing experience, all of it, and I was really excited to learn that Pampers® is celebrating it.
