Growing up, my favorite toy and television show was My Little Pony. I still get all giddy when I see an awesome toy, television show, or movie that has to do with My Little Pony. This might sound a little crazy, but I’m a mommy who loves tattoos. I have to wear long sleeves to work because I have tattoos on my arms.
Well my right arm is being planned right now; it’s going to be fun (Update 7 years later, I never finished my tattoo lol.) I’m not going to tell you too much about it, but I will tell you there is My Little Pony involved. I know sounds crazy, but if you knew me you would understand lol. I have collected My Little Pony toys, stuffed animals, and everything else I can get my hands on for my daughter since before she was born. I am still not sure if it was entirely for her or an excuse for me to get more My Little Pony stuff, lol.
I was recently asked if I would like to review a My Little Pony stuffed animal from Build a Bear. I’m sure you could imagine my excited. I think I responded with, “YES, YES, YES, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!” No joke, how professional is that? The excitement totally took over, the little kid in me, mommy My Little Pony collector, for a split second I forgot I was all grown up. I love it when that happens, two of my favorite things in the entire world of stuffed toys. Build-A-Bear and My Little Pony meet, OMG!
I received Pinky Pie, one of my favorite of the Ponies! The other one is Rainbow Dash, which you bet your left foot I will be ordering on the 1st when they become available. Oh see I got all excited and forgot to inform you!
Build-A-Bear Workshop is bringing the amazing magic and friendship of the super cute, super cuddly, super amazing My Little Pony brand to all of us. This is the first ever make-your-own Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash! I know right, I am still freaking out about it. I’m so excited; I don’t want to wait until April 1st.
See all these pictures of Pinky Pie, notice they are with me. One of the girls at work said, “Oh Jenn, Mattie is going to love that.” I immediately gave them a look and responded with, “Who said this is for Mattie. I’m not sharing my Pinky Pie with her.” In my defense, they get all the cool stuff.
Okay, so yes I am a kind mom and I let them touch her after they wash their hands. Hey, my kids have grubby little hands and the last thing I want them on is my beautiful Pinky Pie. Ha-ha, no I let my daughter sleep with Pinky Pie, and I am still undecided as to; how many Pinkie Pie’s and Rainbow Dash’s I am going to buy. I know for certain, I’m getting me one of each that is brand new, that I can cuddle with at night. They are perfect for cuddling at any age!
My Pinkie Pie pony is so soft; you really have to hold one to understand how perfectly soft they are. How perfect they are for cuddling, and how much fund they are. As a collector of anything My Little Pony, I have to say this is by far the best stuffed animal of the ponies I have been lucky enough to have.
If you love My Little Pony like I do, DO NOT miss them at Build-A-Bear Workshop.
Sending a huge thank you to our friends at Build-A-Bear for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
