Why I Love My New Mysterio Jute Rug From Natural Area Rugs

Most of you know my husband and I are working hard to get the rest of our house finished.  Good news, we have finished my youngest daughters room, next on the list is my mine and my husband’s room and my office.  While I am excited to get our bedroom done, I cannot wait to get our Den finished up, I am not only excited about the extra room we will have, but I cannot wait to give our new Mysterio Jute Rug a home.  I never realized how difficult choosing a good rug can be, there is a lot to think about when choosing a new rug.

I was contacted by Natural Area Rugs and asked if I would review one of their amazing rugs.  WOW, they have so many amazing rugs, it took me several days to choose a rug from their website.  I also realized how difficult choosing a rug can be.  There so several things to consider such as where the rugs will go, size, care, colors, and the shape of the rug.  Lucky for me, I already knew I wanted to go with a 4×6 sized area rug to help break up our computer room from our den.  Right now it’s one huge open space, the rug will help break up the two rooms nicely.

I always consider how difficult things will be to care for, which includes my new rug from Natural Area Rugs.  I wouldn’t purchase a rug that required any type of special treatment honestly.  Rugs are expensive, I have 4 kids, dogs, and cats who are in the house.  The last thing I want to worry about is a rug that is difficult to clean, or that I have to pay someone to clean.

Once we had our rug open and unrolled I noticed a few waves in the carpet from it being packaged, but they were gone by the end of the night, which was fabulous.  I have a rug I purchased several months ago, and I am very disappointed that two of the corners are still rolled up.  So I was probably overly excited when I noticed how quickly the Jute Rug laid down properly.

The Mysterio Jute Rug is made from 80% Jute and 20% Cotton, and is hand made by Artisan Rug Makers.  It’s made from the finest material, which are earth friendly, and the best part is the fact that it’s durable!  In my house things MUST be durable, or it’s a waste of my time.  I have kids, animals and a husband who use everything to its fullest. 

Another cool things about our Just Rug is that it’s created using handmade weaving techniques, which creates distinctions that make the rug unique.  Oh, and caring for the rug is a breeze, which is another MUST in my house hold, as I mentioned earlier. 

Keeping the rug looking pretty and new is as easy as regularly vacuuming, which I already do.  They actually recommend that you vacuum the rug from several different directions and pass over each part of the rug several times, which I do on my carpet because of love the nice carpet marks that you get from doing that.  They also recommend rotating your rug about once a year to move the high traffic area of the rug.  Not a problem in my house.  I move the rugs around every time I vacuum and turn them for that reason. 

I know, I thought that that.  What happens if you spill something on your new rug?  Natural Area Rugs recommends using Host Dry Carpet Cleaner.  They also say you can dampen cloth with a the proper cleaning agent, and for spot cleaning using a mixture of water with a very small amount of detergent, or household solvent.
