I love my dogs. Are you a dog owner? If so, I am sure you consider ways to keep your dogs happy and healthy.
I am sure some of you have heard me talk about my dogs. For those of you who have not, I will give you a proper introduction. First, let’s talk about my Pitbull. Skittles and I have been together for 10 years, and he has been there for me during some pretty bad times. There was a point in my life where it was him and I against the world.
I decided to change the direction my life was going, picked up and moved at the drop of a hat, and he was the only person I had left in my life. It was hard, but things end up working out in the end. Things tend to always work out in the end, but Skittles and I go way back. He was with me before I became a mom and has become a protective older brother to my kids. He’s my oldest kid, and my kids refer to him as their big brother. It’s always been that way. He is one of a kind, and now that he is getting older, we have moved him to wet dog food to make it easier on him. He is my picky eater, and you better believe he is loving.
Next we have Noodles, who is, well,. I don’t really know how to describe her. She has a heart of gold and is very loyal, loving, playful, and dingy as all get out. Let’s just say she is still looking for her belly button.
Piper is our 5-year-old yellow Labrador and another sweet and loyal friend. I don’t think she is as dingy as Noodles, but I do see her help Noodles look for her belly button now and again. If she were a crayon, she would be a burnt orange color, which is an awesome color, one of my favorites, but not too bright.
My entire family is dog-loving. We love to spend time with them, go on walks together, and love them. They are part of the family! If you are a dog lover, I’m sure you know the feeling—they are not pets. They are companions, friends, and family. They have feelings, they like treats, their belly scratches; and what kind of dog food they like. It’s our job as their owners to make sure they are eating food that gives them everything they need.
I stick with good-quality dog food that provides my dogs with everything they need to be happy and healthy. Personally, I want to know my dogs are eating a complete and balanced diet. It’s important for them to have during all stages of life.

Wow I used to use Alpo way back but kinda moved on to dry dog food even for our oldest dog. You got me thinking about the soft food being easier on him. I wasn’t aware of all the awesome ingredients in it either. Have to say I kinda feel a bond with Skittles thru you but now Bugger sounds interesting. You just may have convinced me to go back to what works best and the price is not outrageous-thanks
Good news, I have some on the way to review… So we will be testing it out, and trust you me my dogs are picky… I have Skittles on the soft food, but it’s the raw diet due to the cancer which seems to be helping… My other dogs, expecailly my lab Piper is PICKY… omg, she is so silly too.. I’m so glad you feel that connection with Skittles he is soooooooooooooooooooooooo special girl… I’m sure you can see how much he means to me, he is so much more than just a dog
I just recently lost my dog. It is amazing to see blogs like this promoting good health in pets!! Thanks again !!!
My concern would be whether any of their ingredience come from China. The labels probably don’t indicate this and now that the fda has approved chicken from China for human consumption, I guess noone is safe. Thanks for the review, will check them out and read their lables carefully.
I lost my job in March and haven’t been able to afford wet food since but my 2 black labs sure love it when they do get it!
