DISCLOSUREKeep Hardwood Floors Clean With The Swiffer Sweep & TrapWhen there are 4 kids, 4 dogs, 1 husband, and 1 kitty going in and out of the house all day long the floors tend to get a little messy.  Sure I have a rule that all shoes come off at the door.  Does anyone follow this rule?  Only if they know there is a chance that mom might catch them, other than that nope, and my husband he is the world WORST!  I am however thankful for my hardwood and tile floors.  Needless to say, I am always on the lookout for things that make life a little easier, and right now I am jumping for joy because now you can keep hardwood floors clean with the Swiffer Sweep & Trap.. Oh, and don’t forget the Swiffer Sweep & Trap works great on tile floors, or any hard floors.

I have found a few things that help keep my hardwood floors clean, as well as my tile floors but nothing that works as well as the new Swiffer Sweep & Trap.  It’s like two tools in one, it’s easy to use!

Sweep/vacuum/dust Use Swiffer Sweep & Trap – Before I started using the Swiffer Sweep and Trap I would sweep, and then dust the floor, or I would try to take a shortcut and pull out the vacuum.  Regardless of what I did first I always had to follow with the duster to be sure I got up all the fine dust.  Let’s just say it was time-consuming, especially while we have all the construction going on.   I am going to tell you right from the get go, I love the Swiffer Sweep and Trap, it’s life a vacuum and duster all in one.  It works great, one tool that does the job of two…

I have used the Swiffer Sweep & Trap daily on my hardwood floors, and a few times on my tile floors.  I have hardwood in my kitchen, and hallway which are high traffic areas.  There is tile in my bathroom, and the guest bathroom so they don’t get too dirty.

Swiffer’s NEW Sweep & TrapWhat’s So Awesome About The Swiffer Sweet & Trap

For those of you who have not heard of the Swiffer Sweep and Trap it’s similar to the regular Swiffer Sweepers.  You will still find the pad on the bottom, but now has somewhat of a manual vacuum that is specially designed to be used on hard floors – hardwood, tile, laminate, etc.   The Swiffer Sweep and Trap uses a rotating blade to pick up large particles and flick them into a dirt trap, while the Swiffer Sweeper dry cloth traps dust, hair, dirt, and all the other stuff that your average broom leaves behind.   It’s the perfect combination for someone, especially for my house which is filled with kids, dogs, cats, and husbands!

The Swiffer Sweep and Trap is easy to use, lightweight, compact, and I love it.  Cleaning out the Swiffer Sweep trap is super easy, and there is no batteries or power cord to fight with.  Did I mention how easy it is to put together.  I honestly handed it to my husband becasue I noticed there was screws.  My husband looked at me like I was the laziest person that walked the face of earth, lol.  I told him about the screws, we looked at the packaging and quickly figured out they were for demonstration purposes.  Silly me, but hey my husband knows I don’t read directions when I see screws.  I simply hand it over to him, because bad things happen when I try to put things together, lol.

Anyway, right after we were done we ran into the kitchen tossed the screws on the floor, and guess what?  The Swiffer Sweep and Trap flicked the screws into the trap like nobody’s business, I’m not even kidding.  FYI, my vacuum cannot even do that without breaking!  Next it was time for the pieces of wood, and just like the screw it flicked the pieces of wood into the trap.

Cleans Dirt Dust, and more from your Floors Swiffer Sweet & Trap after cleaning dirty floors trap is filled with dirt and things, white pad is filled with duts.Oh, sure there might be a screw in their every now and then, and well why don’t you just take a look for yourself.  Look at everything the Swiffer and Sweep Trap!  YUCK, and that was all over my floor.  One the plus side it took me about 5 minutes to get cleaned up, and I never once hat to pull out another tool (vacuum, broom, or duster).  I’m going to have to say, The Swiffer Sweep and Trap ROCKS!

The Swiffer Sweep and Trap came with this nifty kit that had wood in it, and screws for demonstration.

There is only one thing I can think of to complain about – The Swiffer Sweeper and Trap is that it doesn’t sweep up toddler who want to stand in the way, lol.  Matte noticed how excited I was with my new cleaning tool, was mad because I wouldn’t let her play with it, and decided that she would stand right in front of this pile of stuff I wanted to Swiffer Sweep up!

If you have hard floors in your house than you might want to consider the Swiffer Sweep & Trap!  It’s done great on my hardwood, and tile flooring, and I’m sure it would work great on any other hard flooring.

Swiffer keeps on coming up with new products that make life so much easier. This seep and trap product really does seem to do the work and take less time. I shall have to look for it at the store.

That is pretty amazing. I find it so hard to keep the hard wood areas of my house clean. I would hate to think what my carpet would look like if I didn’t vacuum every day. And holy cow you have a busy house.

I could so use this. My husband is still redoing the upstairs and tracks fine, powder like dust all over the house. I am always broom sweeping and dusting.

This is perfect!! I end up using the dust mop and the broom when I clean our hardwood floors. Sometimes I use the vacuum too. Love that fact that I can sweep and dust at the same time. Thanks for the great review!!

We just purchased a house with hardwood floors. I love they way they look but I wondered how to maintain them (the easy way!) I like the idea of a Swiffer sweep trap, can’t wait to try it out. I love the Swiffer extended duster.

I love Swiffer products. They make cleaning so much easier. I don’t have to pull out the big vacuum every time.
