Did you know that brushing alone misses about 75% of your mouth?  I am going to admit, I didn’t, and I feel like I am always fighting with one of my kids about brushing, swishing, or flossing.  They are just crazy, and I fight with all of them when it comes time for brushing.  Vayda will try to wet her toothbrush so I think she brushed her teeth.  My youngest daughter, wants to brush her teen 923 times a day since she got her new Barbie toothbrush.  My oldest daughter tries to tell me that she only needs to brush her teeth in the morning, becasue nobody will smell her breath while she is sleeping.  Let’s just say, this house is CRAZY, I cannot belive my husband and I are going to be adding another one of these crazy kids to the bunch, and I am always fighting with someone about brushing, rinsing, or flossing.      

The #LISTERINE® Oral Care 21-Day Challenge                                                                                                                                                           

I am excited to be part of the LISTERINE® Oral care 21-Day Challenge.  I will be starting tomorrow, for the next 21 days I will be brushing and flossing twice a day, and who can forget about using mouthwash at least once a day.  The best part?  My family is excited to take the challenge with me.  There was no fighting, arguing, rolled eyes, or anything of that nature.  Everyone was excited to start!  I don’t know if you understand what this means to me, this never happens.  With 6 people in my house, 4 being kids, and 1 being my husband this is serious improvement.

I had planned on starting today, but my local Target is out of the LISTERINE® WHITENING Original Gel Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste.  I went by the store to check with them, and they should have some on their truck today, or early in the morning, and the manager is so nice that he said he would put one aside for me.  I guess it’s some pretty popular stuff, I can never seem to get there when they have any.  Lucky for me, I have asked about it enough that they feel bad and are going to put some aside for me lol.

Oh, my brushing habits.  You want to know about mine?  Well I do everything I am supposed to, every single day.  HA, no I don’t, I wish I could tell you that, but I’m going to be honest, I need to improve on using mouthwash, and flossing.  I use LISTERINE® Antiseptic mouthwash, but not daily like I should.  I also floss, but not the recommended twice a day, more alone the lines of every other day.  Which is just crazy, we always have LISTERINE® Antiseptic mouthwash and floss in our home, it’s crazy that I wouldn’t take the extra few minutes I need to care for my mouth.  It’s the only mouth I have, and I actually love it.  

My husband on the other hand, will not go a day without LISTERINE® Antiseptic mouthwash.  He has a favorite kind, and he needs to have it every single day or he gets grumpy!  However, he does need to improve on flossing.  Taking the LISTERINE® 21-Day Challenge is going to be great!  It’s a chance for our whole family to develop a good routine.  I think my husband and I tend to overuse the busy excuse.  I mean we both could find a few extra minutes each day to take good care of our mouths, and help set a good example for our children to follow.  I am actually really excited to be part of the LISTERINE® 21-Day Challenge, not only am I on board, but my whole family is excited to start brushing, flossing, and swishing!  Oh, and my kids are VERY excited about their big debut on LISTERINE® Brand’s Facebook page, and we want you to join us too!
