For those of you who are not already familiar with Prize Candle’s, and how they work it’s actually really neat.

• Light your candle, and burn until you can see the jewelry become visible.  Not to worry, it’s wrapped up nice and tight to keep the wax out.  Sure waiting STINKS, but the candles smell amazing.  So just sit back and enjoy the excellent scent.
• Once you can see your prize, remove the bonus pouch with a pair of tweezers, unwrap that bad boy, and see what your Prize Candle had hidden under the soy wax.
• After you have your prize, you will find a piece of paper with a code, take that to their website, and see how much your prize is worth.

The ring I received was only valued at $10, and it was a little big for me, but my kids loved it.  I gave it to my oldest daughter who loves it, but you will see Mattie modeling it in the below picture and Caite in the picture below Mattie.  Yes, do you see that face.  That’s the look of a little girl rocking a BIG rock looking like she is the coolest things since marshmallows, and it’s priceless.

We were able to review their scent XO XO Chocolate Truffle, which smells great.  I’m still not sure how my daughter talked me out of it, but she did.  Catie ended up with not only the ring but the remainder of the candle too.  Dang, she is getting good!  Both my daughters Catie and Mattie LOVE candles.  Mattie might be little, but she knows what she likes, and we all agreed we love prize candle.  Caite actually asked me if I would get her one for her Birthday, in September, lol.  I added it to my list of gift ideas for her, so I don’t forget lol.

I used to purchase Prize Candles all the time, I was actually in their candle club.  I didn’t leave for any reason other than my husband, and I came to some money issues.  I love my candles, but if we ever see things are getting tight financially, it’s the first things to go.  I have received rings valued at $10, $25, and one that was $100 from Prize Candles.  I never expect anything over $10, because I am not lucky lol.  Really it’s all luck.  I noticed a comment the other day, someone was upset because they had ordered a certain amount of candles and only received  $10 ring.  I think that is a chance everyone needs to be willing to take, and if you’re not then maybe, they are not the candles for you.  The only thing that is guaranteed is that you will get a ring in your candle.  Everything depends on which candle is placed in the mail and shipped to you, it’s luck, but fun!

Regardless, it’s fun, and I love it!  I always get so excited to get a new candle!  Even if my jewelry is only $10, the candle smells amazing (burning in my teen’s room, lol her room needed it more).  It’s like cracker jacks for adults!  It’s awesome, and there is a prize in ever candle!

I know we are not even passed Valentine’s Day yet, but it’s never too early to start thinking about great gift ideas for Mother’s Day or Birthdays’ that are coming up.  Here are five reasons I think Prize Candle is a great gift idea for her.

I don’t know about you, but I always love getting candles for gifts.  Candles are always a gift idea for her.

Jewelry

Chances are anyone who loves candles is going to appreciate the jewelry inside.  Sure every ring might not be valued at a $100 but it’s fun, and I have received a few great $10 rings out of my candles too, and if I don’t like them they kids are more than willing to take them off my hands, lol.  Plus, it’s just fun!  Burning the candle down to get to the wax is just fun, and exciting.

Affordable

I don’t’ know about you, but when I am on the hunt for a Mother’s Day gift, I have to look for something affordable.  I not only have my mom to purchase something for, but my husband’s mother, and a few other people who have been a motherly figure in my life.  I want something they will love, that I can afford.  Prize Candles are the perfect option because they get an awesome scented candle, with jewelry buried under the amazing wax.

Packaging

I have reviewed several candles and bought even more.  I’m an avid online shopper, and Prize Candles has always shipped their products the best.  Everything is nice and neat, and during the summer months they wrap in bubble wrap, wrapped in insulated bubble wrap, and toss an ice pack in to keep it from melting.

Customer Service

I am huge on customer service, and I have dealt with prize candle from as a client.  Several months ago I received a broken candle in the mail.  Needless to say, the box was trashed and looked like it has been tossed around.  I called prize candle, without asking any questions they had one shipped out to me that same day.  excellent service, and I appreciate that

I know many of you already know about those fun candles that prizes come in.  Yes, candles with jewelry inside!  What’s more fun than that?  I personally love candles and purchase them all the time.  Why wouldn’t I want an awesome perk inside my candle?  I have bought tons of candles, reviewed several as well, and one of my favorites has always been Prize Candle.  I love the way their candles smell!  I mean that’s why we buy them right?  It cannot be that I’m addicted because I found a ring worth $100 in one about a year ago, lol.

I’m going, to be honest, a lot has changed since my last Prize Candle Review.  So what’s all changed?

The candle selection has gotten better, but the candles have gotten smaller.  Right now you can choose from Sweet Citrus, Lilac Bloom, XO Chocolate Truffle, Be Mine Crème Brulee, Provence Lavender, Moroccan Amber, Blue Cypress, Mountain Sage, and Pumpkin Spice.  I am super excited about the new scents but do wish they still offered the larger candles, even if I had to pay a little more I would purchase the larger ones.

If you are looking for a unique gift idea for her or just something for yourself, I personally love Prize Candles.  I have been very happy with them since they first started.  I have received nothing but great service, excellent scented candles, and cool rings.  Even the $10 rings are excellent, and if I don’t like them, I never have an issue giving them to someone who will love them.  All their candles come in a 9-ounce container, filled with all natural soy wax which is designed to burn 48-60 hours.  Customers will notice a 100% cotton vegetable dipped wick, and that they are made in the USA.
