The girls and I recently made this super awesome glow-in-the-dark slime recipe that was a super mess, but totally fun!

Homemade Glow-in-the-Dark Slime Recipe

It’s the second time we’ve made the glow-in-the-dark slime, but just FYI, it does require clean-up!  It might also be a good idea to toss the kids clothing in the washer when they are finished, just to be safe!

I don’t know how kids do it, but they find things that I didn’t even know we had when we are doing stuff like this.

The recipe for glow-in-the-dark slime fills up a 32-ounce mason jar.  If you want to make less, just cut the recipe in half.

You’ll Need:

  • 4 Bottles of Clear School Glue
  • 2 Cups of Liquid Starch
  • 2 tablespoons of acrylic glow in the dark paint
  • 1 large Ziploc bag

How to make this easy homemade glow-in-the-dark slime recipe:

how to make slime
  • Combine glue, starch, and paint in a Ziploc bag and work together until it’s a slimy, gooey mess.

  • You may want to add more glow to the dark paint.  If you choose to do so, you’ll want to add it as soon as possible because once the slime begins to set up, it’s harder to mix everything together.
  • That’s it; just work it together until it”s a slime consistency.

Enjoy, and have fun but I don’t suggest letting the kids play with it on the carpet or something, I suggest keeping it outside or at the table because it could get a tad bit messy if it ended up stuck in the carpet.

Who doesn’t love leaning against the newly cleaned counter to find a bleach mark across their waist? ME, that’s who! It would be wonderful to #bleachinyourbest.

Seriously, I am buying this stuff tomorrow when I am shopping. I ALWAYS spill bleach everywhere when I use it. Grass stains from gardening are my nemesis. I should use bleach on them but I always make such a mess out of it.

I have a huge problem with ruining my clothes with bleach while cleaning! Also, I hate storing bleach with children around. These crystals are such a brilliant idea, I have to get me some now!

My husband and I both have really bad nose bleeds so I have to do a lot of bleaching on our white shirts and I always seem to get bleach on my darks as well and it just makes me so sad 🙁 just yesterday I was bleaching my husbands work shirts and splashed bleach on my brand new WWE Roman Reigns T that I just bought for $30 just last week at a local event :(. I would totally use these crystals to get my whites clean and to keep my darks from having nasty bleach stains…..yuck!

My biggest bleach challenge seems to be finding the right amount of bleach to use on my bathtub. I always seem to spill it and it ends up making the whole house smell like bleach! I would use Clorox’s Control Bleach Packs to clean my bathtub faster & easier without the mess! #BleachInYourBest!

My bleach challenge is getting rid of sweat stains and red food stains while trying not to damage the other clothes.

Underarm sweat stains are my biggest challenge. With these great Clorox packs I can soak the shirts safely and remove all the stains.
