I love this DIY Candy Cane Hot Chocolate Spoon & Gift Basket Idea, which is perfect for the upcoming holidays. Last year I told myself I was going to spend less money on gifts and more time making gifts for family and friends. Well, the good news is that I finally have one of them finished, which is these Candy Cane Hot Chocolate Spoons and the DIY Holiday Gift Basket I’m sharing with you today. The candy cane spoons were part of the gift basket that I’m putting together for my brother’s family. So I’m happy; I have one down and several more to go, but I have some great ideas for other things I’m putting together, lol.
I wanted to have everything planned out earlier, but you know, the year got away from me, and before I knew it, we were fast and furiously heading toward the holiday season. It all came too fast this year like it does every year I guess. One would think I would be used to it by now, but I’m not and don’t know that I ever will, lol.
Okay, so let’s get started before the holiday season is here, and I end up having to save this post for next year! And yes, it’s happened before haha.
DIY Candy Cane Hot Chocolate Spoon
The candy cane spoons are super easy to make. All you’ll need is:
- Spoon mold, I got mine from Amazon.
- Candy canes
Making these candy cane spoons is rather easy. To get the full directions you can view our Candy Cane Hot Chocolate Spoon on Half Baked Recipes.

DIY Holiday Gift Basket
For the Holiday Gift Basket, I just added a few candy canes, coffee cups I made for my brother and sister-n-law, a mason jar filled with a special mixture of ingredients so they could have a family night and treat everyone to a glass of hot cocoa and of course a few bottles of water.
Here are a few other holiday-themed posts we think you might enjoy.

That spoons would be lovely to use with hot drinks when you invite guests. 😀
