Philips Hue smart lighting is so awesome! There are so many things you can do with it, but I’m looking forward to trying this. My boyfriend and I want to use our Philips Hue smart lighting to start the spook-factor at the front door. We will turn the lights in the foyer to a muted orange or fluorescent green color and add some flickering using the Hue Halloween app or Hue Labs feature. We also want to knock over a few things on the porch to increase the spook-factor. I don’t know about you, but it would make me stop for a second before going in.
No more mess, jack-o’-lanterns
We carve pumpkins every single year. I’m scared to put candles inside my pumpkins, and I’ve had problems finding lights that are bright enough. Until this year, that is! This year, I’ll be using a Philips Hue Go inside my jack-o’-lantern! Not only is it bright enough, but I can make my pumpkin glow with any color I want by choosing from the 16 million colors and 50,000 shades of white in the Hue app!

The Philips Hue Go jack-o’-lantern was my daughter’s idea, and I love it. We found face stickers and just stuck them on our Philips Hue Go! Of course, we played with the colors of our new inside Jack-o’-lantern, but decided orange was best!
I saw this online somewhere a while back, and I have wanted to try it ever since. Just use a lamp with one of your Philips Hue smart lights in it, lay it on the floor and set it to the strobe setting in the Hue Halloween app or Hue labs scene. This is a great way to create a spooky vibe or turn your home into a haunted house.

With the Hue Halloween app, available in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, you can effortlessly sync light and sound effects for Halloween. So, have fun, choose dark and dreary colors for your lights, connect your speakers, and add scary effects with spooky music playing in the background.
The Philips Hue Go is an awesome, portable, and rechargeable light. Like the other Philips Hue smart lights, the Philips Hue Go can be controlled from your smart device, and you can also activate light settings by pressing the button on the back.
You can also control Philips Hue smart lights with your voice using Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or Apple HomeKit. You can turn your lights on or off, dim or brighten them, or change colors.
