I love Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals! If it weren’t for these fantastic hospitals, so many children like my nephew would have never had a chance at life. It’s because of them, their excellent staff, and people like you who donate their time and money to helping these places continue doing their good deeds.  I’m thrilled to be partnering with them for the holiday season.

If you have followed us for a while, you probably remember my nephew Corbin.  He was such a special guy, and we all miss him very much. The world just isn’t the same without him.  He wasn’t with us long enough, but I know none of us would trade the time we had for anything in the world.  I know his mommy and daddy value those seven years, and they are thankful that places such as Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals were there for them when they needed them.

Corbin was born with a heart condition, and his mommy and daddy were scared.  It was by far the scariest time in their lives, and they both will tell you how awesome the hospital and other networks that helped along the way were. They not only had great programs and amazing staff for Corbin, but my brother and sister-in-law as well.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals: New App!

I don’t know if you heard, but the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals just launched their mobile fundraising app called Give Miracles, that helps make it super easy to ask for and receive donations. They are one of the few charities that you can donate using Apple Pay! They want to make it as easy as possible for you to support your local children’s hospital and we want you to make your Thanksgiving dinner more awkward than normal by downloading the app, selecting your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital and asking for money. That’s what the holiday are about, right, Helping others and loving one another and I can’t think of anything more powerful supporting your local children’s hospital!  Talk about making Thanksgiving more meaningful than ever before!

When it comes to Thanksgiving, we put so much focus on making sure everything is perfect—food, tables, guests, etc.  This year, why not put a little less focus on the menu, worry about who will sit by who and put a little extra focus on supporting your local hospital.  Trust me, there is tons of parents, children, and people who work for your local hospital who will appreciate your efforts more than can be put into works.  It’s a great way to make Thanksgiving meaningful this year and give back to families and your community!
