I can honestly say I’ve never had a Christmas tree up before Halloween, but I am loving it and the DIY Christmas decorations for Breast Cancer Awareness. It’s win-win!
I’m not going to lie and tell you I didn’t enjoy creating the DIY Breast Cancer Awareness Bow Decorations and putting up our pink Christmas tree with the girls before Halloween. Truth be told, I enjoyed every second of it, and the tree still looks amazing, and it’s dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Putting up the tree opened up the topic of breast cancer for the kids. They had a lot of questions, and we were able to discuss breast cancer, so they had a better understanding of the disease.
This year, thanks to our partnership with the wonderful folks at Tree Classics, the girls and I were able to spend a little quality time together putting up a pink Christmas tree to show our support. The girls and I were super excited to put the tree up and make our breast cancer DIY crafts to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Rather than running out and purchasing a bunch of decorations, we decided to spend a little time together crafting breast cancer bow decorations for our tree. Not only are they less expensive, but making the pink bow decorations was great because I was able to spend time with my kids. Something we all need more of, especially now that the kids are in school all day.
DIY Christmas Decorations for Breast Cancer Awareness
Materials:
- Ribbon
- Hot Glue
Directions:
- These are super easy to make; just lay one end of the ribbon over the other, leaving a loop at the top, and put a dot of hot glue where the ribbon lays on top of one another.
Easy enough, right? It was almost as easy as it was to put up the Christmas tree, lol.
The wonderful folks at Tree Classics provided me with an excellent pre-lit artificial Christmas tree, and I love it. I almost didn’t get a pre-lit tree, but I decided to go ahead and give it a shot! Man, I’ll never be going backward, that is for sure.
No way; talk about easy and convenient. It’s honestly the only part of the tree I used to dread!
The most time-consuming part of the whole process was putting the decorations on the tree, and that was only because I had to sneak around behind my youngest daughter and spread them out a bit.
If you’re looking for a tree for the upcoming holiday season, you can’t go wrong with Tree Classics, the home of the world’s finest artificial Christmas tree since 1976! Yes, that is 40 years they have had their doors open, and in my opinion, that’s how you know you found a great company that works hard to keep their customers happy.
Oh, and not to mention that right now they not only have FREE SHIPPING SITEWIDE, but you can save up to 50% when you shop at TreeClassics.com. I think you’ll like their selection of artificial trees: Grand Fir, Classic Fraser Fir, Lake Forrest Snap Tree, Classic Noble Fir, Kennedy Fir Narrow Tree, Fraiser Fir Tree, Alpine White Christmas Tree, Virginian Pine, Hallmark Castle Hill Pine, and TONS MORE! They have not only a huge selection of artificial Christmas trees but also wreaths, garlands, and plenty more great accessories.
So if you want an artificial tree so you don’t have to deal with the mess of a real tree this year but insist it has lifelike branches, be sure to check out Tree Classics; their trees have lifelike branches and even feature their exclusive Real FeelTM needles.

Beautiful tree and kiddos. I love how you gathered for special time and did this. Any cancer is terrible but it warms my heart to see people pull together to support something as important as this. You all make everything loom so nice
I like how the Breast Cancer Bows look like a pretty easy project but it pulls the theme of your Christmas tree together so well.
Those look so beautiful on your tree!
This is such a thoughtful, heartfelt thing to do . It is beautiful. We need to pray daily for all those that get afflicted with cancer. For that matter, any sickness that comes upon them. Thank you so much for sharing
