I wrote this post back in 2013, but the good news is you can still get a copy of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Quest for Crystal Mickey. I have updated the links so you can find a copy at Walmart. Oh man, there is nothing that takes me back to my childhood more than Mickey Mouse himself. He’s been around so long, and he is still just as lovable as ever. I love that I can share things I did as a child with my children. Watching Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Minnie, Daisy, Donald, and the rest of the crew is one of them. There is something special about Mickey and friends. In our home, you’re never too old to sit down for anything with Mickey. If you’re looking for a fantastic kids’ movie, you are going to love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Quest for Crystal Mickey.

Every week, on Monday, my family has movie night. We usually watch something on Netflix or a movie we haven’t seen in a while, but we recently watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Quest for Crystal Mickey. You know we watched it and had a blast too! The best part was before the movie, when my toddler got all dressed up for it. Oh, did I forget to tell you the movie came with all kinds of neat items, such as

  • Straw Safari Hat
  • Adventure Drawstring Backpack
  • Mini Adventure Journal
  • Pirate Treasure Maps
  • Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Quest for Crystal Mickey DVD

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Quest for Crystal Mickey was released on DVD on May 21st, 2013. In the movie, the characters are attempting to prevent the clubhouse from vanishing permanently. Darn, Pete takes off with the magic crystal, and we need to get it back. This is really fun, and the kids get involved, because Mickey takes them on a journey across the desert, across the river, and into the hidden jungle.

My kids had a blast with this one, especially the younger ones. My youngest daughter was seriously into this, and she HAD to help Mickey. Luckily she had her trusty Mini Adventure Journal; if she had not been able to take notes, we would have gotten lost by the river. Yes, seriously, she said so herself. There was no talking allowed because she wasn’t able to hear, lol. It was too cute, and we had a blast. If you’re looking for a super fun movie to share with your kids, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Quest for Crystal Mickey is awesome.

What Mom likes about it is that while the kids are working hard to help Mickey, they’re working on some much-needed skills. Mickey focuses on counting, colors, and other things preschool-aged kids are learning. Everything is fun and interactive, and we all enjoyed it. We had loads of fun watching my three-year-old with her little outfit on.

There are 5 episodes on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Quest for Crystal Mickey for the kids to watch. They are:

  • Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: The Quest for Crystal Mickey
  • Donald of the Desert
  • Donald the Genie
  • Goofy’s Coconutty Monkey
  • Goofy’s Giants Adventure

Personally, I love Goofy, and yes, his episodes were my favorite. However, my younger kids have watched all of them over and over and over again.

This package is AWESOME! The Disney cartoons are always the best, (I love Goofy!) and the included items are really fun for the kids. (& Mom & Dad, too!)

This sounds like such a fun movie. I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old and before they watch any cartoons they have to prepare. If it is a show that has dancing they must put on dresses that twirl and click click shoes. If it is a Disney princess movie all their princess dolls watch with them. They would love this movie especially if their are props involved 🙂

That’s just too cute! I can’t think of too many things that hold a childs attention for very long. Love it that she had to help Mickey. I still watch Mickey Mouse cartoons myself!

Got this one. I think this household is EVERYTHING MICKEY. It’s on every time that I look at the Television. We DVR it so it repeats all day long. Then onto the Mickey Movies, family night here is all Mickey All Day! Thanks.
