Throwing a joint bachelor and bachelorette party is a great idea, but it’s more difficult to plan than you’d think. What party ideas do you currently have in mind. After all, most bridesmaids aren’t going to think that drinking beer and trading football stories is a ton of fun; likewise, there aren’t many groomsmen who’ll be thrilled at the idea of a relaxing pedicure.
10 Awesome Co-ed Bachelor/ette Party Ideas
1. Amusement Park
Are you ever too old to enjoy an amusement park? No, not really. Let your inner child out and choose a park with ample rides, games and food stands. In the summertime, head to a water park instead.
2. Bum It
Be a beach (or lake) bum by spending a refreshing, carefree day suntanning, surfing, doggy paddling, wake boarding and water skiing. Bonus points if you take a boat out for the afternoon. If you’re going to spend a lot of time on the sand, pack up a volleyball kit, horseshoes or paddleball, and don’t forget the sunblock!
3. Camping
S’mores, a cooler of chilled beer, ghost stories, hamburgers for grilling – what’s not to like? For the not-so-outdoorsy, go Glamping instead. Glamorous camping can include a plush cabin, gourmet food and champagne, plus electricity and hot water.
4. Film Festival
Do most of your conversations with your pals revolve around movies and celebrities? Head to a movie festival! If nothing’s going on in your area, create your own by setting up a screen in someone’s backyard. Bring a selection of movies with the same theme (ex. slasher flicks, John Cusack movies, black and white films). Order gourmet takeout and mix up themed cocktails.

5. Roll the Dice
You must have expected to see “Las Vegas” on this list somewhere, right? Sometimes the best excursions are the tried-and-true ones, and Vegas has been the ultimate setting for Last Night of Freedom parties for just about ever. Skip the strip clubs and spend all of your time winning, dining, and gambling on The Strip instead.
6. Golf
Unless the bride and every one of her friends thinks a day at the links sounds like fun, the boys will have to figure out how to play a round while still keeping the girls happy. It’s a good thing that most golf courses also double as spas! While the boys are showing off their back swing, the girls can get pampered. At the end of the day, join forces for a night out.
7. Risk Your Life
How many times have you and your pals said, “We HAVE to go sky diving!” Or deep sea fishing, whitewater rafting, rock climbing…whatever. Book an excursion with a reputable company and finally cross something off of your Bucket List.
8. Wine Tasting
Does your group of buddies have a particularly refined palate? Plan a wine tasting day or weekend and hire a limo to take you from one winery and vineyard to another.
9. Sports Game
Not every bride is prissy. Serious sports fan should gather their pals and head off to see their favorite team beat the pants off the competition. Don’t leave the face paint and tailgating equipment at home!
10. Get Away From It All
If everyone has a few days to spare, get out of town. The larger the group, the better priced your vacation package will be. Plan a trip around whatever everyone wants to do – snorkeling, shopping, fine dining, sunbathing, etc.
This Will Work If… everyone is already friends with each other or they have the potential to all becomes friends. Forcing an unlikely group of strangers together is risky at best. Also, everyone should be relaxed enough to not judge each other. Every party goer should enjoy the celebration the way they want to. So break down some tired old rules about how these things work and have some fun!

Love the ideas! Thank you :o)
I wish I would have seen this when my husband and I were getting married. I would have thrown us a co-ed one. The guys didn’t do anything for him which was a little bit of a bummer. It would have been cool to have everyone together hanging out.
Lovely ideas. Crossing something off my bucket list sounds great!
What great ideas. Thank you.
