Spending time with your spouse is important, but finding things to do together can get a little difficult. Shawn and I try to do something together once a week, but we often find ourselves figure something to do at home after the kids have gone to bed. When we actually get out we often find ourselves searching for things to do. Really, it should be that hard, but for some reason it is, which is why I thought I would share a few things to do with your spouse.
If you are looking for things to do with your spouse, here are a few ideas to get you started. Good Luck!
Go out dancing
Dancing is fun, and if you don’t know how, it’s the perfect time to learn. It’s something you can continue doing, you stay active, burn calories, and even work up an appetite.
Go to the park
Go swing, play on the monkey bars, climb the spider web, and have fun being kids, acting silly. It’s okay to swing without the kids too! Have fun, and feel young.
Hike
Take that hike you have been talking about, it’s a great way to spend time together, and work up an appetite for dinner.
Watch the sunset.
Hang out and watch the sunset together. To this day my husband will watch the sunset
Go see a movie
Take your spouse and go watch a new movie together.
Make a photo album of your night
There are so many cool apps out there to help you document your amazing evening out together. Start out by downloading an awesome story-telling app that allows you to upload images. Be sure you have an awesome editing app too. Now you will remember this night forever.
Window Shop
Why not walk around downtown, or head to your favorite store and window shop together. It is also a great way to listen for those hard to find gift ideas for the up.
Watch a movie
Stay home, cuddle up and watch a movie together.
Go for a walk
There is nothing like an evening walk to chat, hold hands, and enjoy being with one another.
Bowling
Go bowling! It’s fun, your are active, and it helps you work up an appetite for dinner.
Complete a project
You know that project you have been putting off? Why not team up, hang out, chat, get it done and work up an appetite for an awesome Saturday date night.
Eat, Play, and Enjoy
We all have to eat, but if you’re looking for things to do with your spouse you might want to step things up here. Don’t just head to a restaurant, look for something with entertainment so you can play and enjoy your time together. Whether it’s playing pool, beach volleyball, or singing karaoke your dinner date will be more fun if you both can play a little.
