This post brought to you by Walmart. All opinions are 100% mine.
Did you know that every day, member hospitals treat 16,000 children in emergency rooms, or that 1 in 10 kids in North American are treated by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals each year? They also provide surgery for 97 children every house. My heart falls to my stomach when I think about all those sick babies and the parents there beside them. Children’s Miracle Networks Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion since 1983, most of it $1 at a time, for 170 hospitals across the US and Canada. These donations have gone to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
I love when I hear about a large corporation giving a huge donation to a place that needs it, as Pampers® is doing for the Children’s Miracle Network. If you have not heard, Pampers® has partnered with Walmart to make an amazing donation of $200,000 during the month of June to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals organization. It give me butterflies in my tummy and that warm and fuzzy feeling to know Pampers® is helping in such a big way.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals organization is a non-profit organization with a mission to help increase awareness of children’s health issues and work to improve children’s heath by fundraising for children’s hospitals and medical research.

Without amazing places like the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, I do not what my sons or nephew’s lives would be like. Many of you know my son was born with Cerebral Palsy, and my nephew was born with Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome, and has already been through three heart surgeries, by the age of three. The first surgery was when he was about seven days old. My brother and wife has to move 15 hours away from home for the first 6 months of Corbin’s life to be sure he received the care he needed from a children’s hospital.
The above picture is Corbin after his second heart surgery. It’s amazing, he recovered so fast, and looking at him you would not even know.
My son, Bud is in a wheelchair and we have to do a lot for him, but he has come so far these past few years, and is doing things we never thought were possible. It’s hard to look back and remember how hard these boys had to fight, but on another note such an amazing feeling to look at them now, watch them grow, and look at everything they have been able to accomplish.
Without today’s technology, my nephew would have been taken home by my brother and his wife, and only lived a few days. Thankfully, there are places like the Children’s Miracle Network who are actively increasing awareness of children’s health issues, working to improve children’s health through fundraising for children’s hospitals and medical research. Without all of these three things, who knows if what kind of life not only these two boys, but also all the other children these hospitals help.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is giving children a chance to live better, and you can help by supporting those brands who support this cause, like Pampers® Purchase the Pampers® Huge Box to not only save yourself money, but support a Pampers® and the Children’s Miracle Networks Hospitals on their mission.
