My girls are more than just princesses! They are smart, creative, and talented girls who can do anything they want to. Mattie is funny; she will put on one of her pink princess dresses and go help my husband work on the car. She doesn’t care if she gets it dirty, and she tells us it’s her “workin’ dress”. Hey, better that than her nice jeans, because if she didn’t have that dress, it would be those jeans, lol.
My girls both love to build things; they are extremely creative and will turn a cardboard box into an apartment with running water, lol. They come up with some of the craziest things, and here recently they have started to get a little extra creative thanks to Goldie Blox.

Award-winning: How cool is it that Goldie Blox isn’t only smart; she’s an Award-winning book series + building toys for girls, starring the one and only Goldie, the girl inventor who’s known for her love of building. It’s well deserved if you ask me.
Disrupt The Pink Aisle: In the world of science, technology, math, and engineering, men largely out number women, but Goldie Box is on a mission to change that! She’s planning to disrupt the pink aisle and inspire the future all our little female engineers. I know Goldie Blox has sparked something in my kids; even my teen daughter will come over and play with the younger girls from time to time because it’s fun creating things!
She’s the coolest. Who’s cooler than Goldie Blox? She’s smart, relatable, cool, and man, she’s always up to something. Plus, her friends are awesome too!
She dresses awesome—literally, she wears overalls and a tool belt! I’m loving that she doesn’t come in high heels! I love Goldie Blox so much. I preordered the doll, and we just got it the day before yesterday, I believe, and my kids have not put her down.
Goldie Blox uses her brain—I’m all about the message that Goldie Blox sends our children. She is cool because she is smart, not because she has a nice dress, long hair, or is skinny! It’s cool to be smart, and girls can do anything!
Imagination required: We already know how beneficial it is for children to use their imagination, but it’s even better when they have to solve problems and think outside the box.
Books: Each of the sets comes with a book, and they are some of the coolest books I have ever seen. The girls love them; we have read them repeatedly. Like always, Goldie Blox teaches the kids a valuable lesson.
Princess gone inventor/builder I have watched my girls totally change the way they think and the things they enjoy. They have always loved to build stuff; they would build things for their dolls, and they still build things for their other dolls, but they want to do more. Rather than sticking with a shoebox, they’re going to ask if they can use some of the wood from outside, hammer and nails. Which, I think is GREAT, and naturally, we are teaching them how to properly use the tools.
All the parts work together. You can buy all the Goldie Blox sets and combine them to make one HUGE invention, or several little ones. The sky is the limit!
Goldie Blox Founder Rocks Seriously, Debbie put a lot of time, work, and research into making Goldie Blox a great toy for girls. She spent over a year researching and interviewing parents, educators, neuroscientists and STEM experts, and don’t you know most of her time was spent playing with kids! She found that girls don’t just want to build; they have strong verbal skills, enjoy stores, and naturally have characters. They want to do more than just build, because they want to know why they are building it. Therefore, Goldie Blox was born, and I’m sure you’ll agree she is amazing, and it’s been a great experience to watch her grow…
Team Goldie: I ordered my daughter a Goldie Blox T-shirt, which she wore to school the other day for the first time, and everyone had something good to say about it. I had moms asking me where I got it because they wanted to get one for their daughter. At the end of the day, being a princess is cool, but I think there are tons of moms out there like myself—who wants their daughter to know they are more than a princess is, They can do anything they want to do, and the sky is the limit!
The stories: Each of the Goldie Blox stories relates to girls lives, is fun, allows the kids to feel like they know Goldie Blox, and the kids love them. It also gives them a good starting point for creating. My girls always start following the invention in Goldie Box’s book, but they have yet to stick to it because they get ideas, and before I know it, they have created something awesome like Mattie’s Rollerskae Castle.
Creativity: I don’t know how these toys don’t inspire creativity.
Teaches children important things – My daughter used to get so aggravated when she could not get something the first time she would stop. One day we were reading a Goldie Blox book, or talking about her, I don’t remember, but we talked about how Goldie Blox didn’t always get things the first time and how she needed her friends ideas and support. Once Mattie realized Goldie Blox didn’t give us, she started to get them same attitude.

Goldie Blox and the Movie Machine—The Movie Maker is super cool, teaching kids how to make their own movies! Goldie Blox and all her friends team up on this one because their inventing a way to save Bloxtown Film Festival! There is fun new characters and pieces, and kids have the chance to learn how to build a zoetrope, which is an animation device.
It’s really neat, and the kids loved that it actually worked. This is one of Mattie’s favorite ones, because she can watch a movie! She has waited about 2 weeks to get the Goldie Blox doll so she could let her watch a movie, lol.
Goldie Blox and the Builder’s Survival Kit We also received the amazing Builder’s Survival Kit, which comes with more than 190 pieces and is loaded with hours upon hours of fun. This was the deal breaker here, because now the girls can get as creative as they want. Whether the child has just joined the world of Goldie Blox and inventing or they have been around since the start, they will love the Builder’s Survival Kit.
Goldie Blox and the Parade Float: We also received the Parade Float, which the girls love. Comes with 9 design ideas, an awesome DIY project, and tons of possibilities.
I am a huge fan of Goldie Blox and have been since I first learned about the brand on Kickstarter. I have crossed fingers and toes at the same time, hoping they were able to receive the well deserved support.
It’s more than just a toy; it’s a women’s dream to help little girls have the opportunity to become something they might have never thought about. The passion put into each Goldie Blox piece shows, and it’s awesome to watch my girls play with them. So far we have every Goldie Blox piece and are impatiently waiting for the release of the Blox Town piece. I’m not sure who is more excited, me or the kids, lol.
