My Little Pony Galloping In To Build-A-Bear

Those darn ponies really hold a special place in my heart.  I have loved My Little Pony since I was a kid and was very excited to see them make the comeback they did.  I grew up watching Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, and Gang. I also collected the old My Little Pony figures, and I still have them all in good shape.  Growing up, horses were my thing, I went to rodeos; when I was 7, I was junior rodeo princess, and when I was 14, I was a rodeo princess for the country I lived in.  I loved horses and fell in love with My Little Pony at an early age.  I have never watched much TV, but I will still sit down for an episode of My Little Pony!  I love those ponies, and I don’t know that I really have a favorite; they are all awesome!

Now I collect the new My Little Pony figures every chance I get for my youngest daughter, Mattie.  All my kids love the ponies, but Mattie reminds me of myself.  Her eyes light up when she plays with them; she loves them.

My sister-n-law asked me the other day why I like My Little Pony so much, ha-, and my response was rather long, so I will try to keep it short for you!  As an adult, I love My Little Pony for several reasons, but the biggest one is it’s something my kids and I share!  I love that I can sit down and watch an episode of My Little Pony with my children, and I love that we collect the same My Little Pony stuffed animals from Build-A-Bear!  Of course, I have my own set because the kids like to play with their hair, and I like to put mine up in my bedroom, and yes, my husband is totally cool with my addiction for My Little Pony.  He’s cool with my little collection, My Little Pony from Build-A-Bear, in my room too!

Another thing I have always loved about My Little Pony is that they always take care of business.  They don’t call in anyone to help, and they do it in a graceful way.  GIRL POWER!  Along with great music, which is the ringtone on my phone,.  Most importantly, they senda message about friendship!  Are you a good friend?  Are you sure? Would your best buddy say you are a good friend?  If not, watch My Little Pony because they teach many lessons about friendship, and it’s not hard to see how close all the ponies are!

My Little Pony Collection at Build-A-Bear

Build-A-Bear asked me if I would review the newest member to their My Little Pony collection, Fluttershy!  Needless to say, I jumped on it!  Now I have Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Spike, and now Fluttershy!  My kids have all of them, but Fluttershy.  Sure they are a little upset, but I’m sure they know that Fluttershy is on the list for Christmas.  If you’re looking for a great gift idea for kids, Build-A-Bear!  They have so much more to choose from, and they have a pretty awesome Christmas line too!

Right now, Build-A-Bear has Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Princess Twilight Sparkle, and good old Spike!  Build-a-Bear will welcome Fluttershy on November 29, 2013!  If you’re looking for an affordable gift idea for kids, BAM Fluttershy is just in time for the holidays.  Like all the other ponies, she’s a great customizable gift idea for kids of all ages.  Each Pony is 16” in height, super soft, loads of fun, and will make a great gift.

When I received Fluttershy, she came with an awesome birth certificate, her nice cape, adorable shoes, and a cute flower on her ear.  If you already own the other My Little Pony stuffed animals, don’t worry; all the close ones can be mixed and matched.  You can dress your My Little Pony in the My Little Pony Cape, or express yourself and browse everything on their website, or you can do like I did with Rainbow Dash and Spike—don’t add anything.  Just get the My Little Pony stuffed animal.  Sure, having them dressed is much cuter, but they don’t have to have clothes on to be cute.

This super-duper cute Tutu Skirt!  It reminds me of my daughter, she has one that is almost identical for her dance class!

There is a huge selection of clothing to choose from, and I’m sure you can find just about anything you need – Jean Outfits, Suitcase Seats, Skirt Outfits, Bathing Suites, Shoes, Brushes, Belts, Glasses, Jackets, and so much more.  One of my favorite things about all the Build-A-Bear stuffed animals is the ability to add sound to your stuffed animals.  When you purchase your My Little Pony you can add the My Little Pony Theme song to your new beastie!  It’s perfect for little ones, because every time they hug their new pony their favorite song will play.  Personally I love the My Little Pony Theme Song.  You can also add songs to other stuffed animals from Build-A-Bear too!

Fluttershy Comes To Build-A-Bear November 29, 2013

Between my girls and I we are HUGE fans of not only My Little Pony, but Build-A-Bear as well.  I love that you can customize yours or your childs new BFF, from her shoes to the flower on her ear.  The possibilities are endless.  Before I received Fluttershy I wondered how well they would do making her resemble the character, because she has those eyes.  I’m sure you can see by the pictures she does resemble the character, and they did a fabulous job with the eyes Fluttershy is known for!

If you have been collecting the ponies from Build-A-Bear I know you’re going to want add Fluttershy to your collection as well.  For those of you who love My Little Pony, or huggable stuffed animals be sure to think about Build-A-Bear this holiday season.
