I have recently been lucky enough to review one of these fun riding toys for toddlers! It’s called the Little Tikes Pillow Racers Unicorn.

I remember growing up, there was nothing I wanted to do more than jump on my horse and take off until it was dark. Normally, my friend and I would end up running out of horses at full speed, heading home after it was getting dark. Nope, I wasn’t scared of getting into trouble. I was more scared of what was hiding behind those trees and rocks. You know all those darn stories my father told me growing up? Once dark hit, I was scared beyond belief to be out in the great outdoors alone. It never stopped me from pushing it to the very end; 90% of the time was racing home with our hearts pounding, lol.
It’s so much fun being a child; I look back and wish I had valued it more. I knew then what I know now, and I have not been in such a hurry to grow up. Being a kid is awesome! I try to tell my kids the same thing my mom told me. Slow down and enjoy it. Before you know it, you will be all grown up stressing about bills, work, grocery stores, money—oh, and did I say money? They look at me the same way I look at my mom, like I’m crazy, lol.
I was recently given the opportunity to review a Little Tikes Pillow Racers Unicorn! How much fun, right? I wouldn’t have paid anything for a toy like this growing up when I was Maddie’s age! She’s two, and she’s getting bigger every damn day! You should have seen her little face when she first noticed this pony.
Her father stayed home with her one day while she was sick and brought her to work. Well, the USP man brought all kinds of boxes that day, and her Pillow Racer Unicorn just happened to be in there! She gave it a huge hug, grabbed dad’s hand, and said, “Dad, let’s go home. I want to take my pony; she’s so cute. Mom, I love her.” Oh, if you could have heard her little voice, she was so excited.
My husband took all kinds of pictures of her racing around the kitchen like she owned the joint. She still feeds her pony carrots, don’t you know? Yup, I don’t think he likes them, because I keep finding them all over the darn floor, but hey, at least we know he’s not hungry or anything. I think she tried to give him oatmeal one time too!
This is an awesome toy, and I personally cannot recommend it enough. The unicorn is a riding toy for toddlers; my nephew comes over and has a blast with it too! My daughter loves animals; he loves riding toys, and this has turned into her favorite. The wheels are awesome! She puts on her imagination cap every time she jumps on Pinky Pie and rides off into her own little world of awesomeness and fun! She sleeps with her pony, wheels, and all; she doesn’t care! I asked her if the wheel bothered her, and she told me with an ugly look. “Mom Pinky doesn’t care if I sleep with my shoes on!” That is, it turns around and rides off. She is done with the conversation, and hey, I’m happy with the way it ended, I think!
The Pillow Racers Purple Unicorn has tons of great features, such as:
- It comes ready to go. You do nothing; they jump on and ride off!
- Easy-grip handle
- Soft cushion body I wish I had a pony chair as soft as this one. It’s very soft; I was actually very impressed with the amount of cushion used on this riding pony.
- The pillow comes off! We have taken it off some, but my daughter doesn’t like it that much. However, it can come off and make a super cuddly friend. Oh, or an awesome pillow, for sure.
- Caster wheels that allow easy and fast turns. This is awesome, and it allows Mattie to fly across the kitchen and turn quickly. She loves it.
- Can hold up to 50 pounds.
If you’re looking for fun-riding toys for toddlers, I cannot recommend this one enough. The Little Tikes Pillow Racers Unicorn is an awesome product.
