Most of you know we recently built on to our home, and are remodeling the rest of the house. We’re finally in the heart of the kitchen! I cannot tell you how thrilled I am, once we’re finished with the kitchen, we’re finishing hardwood floors, painting the den, and finishing with all the small things – shelves, entertainment center, etc. Oh, and there is NO WAY my husband will allow me to buy shelves or an entertainment center, because he loves woodworking and is pretty darn good at it too.
I’m Prepping for The Holidays With a Whirlpool Appliance Makeover
I’m so excited! We have a brand new Whirlpool Double Oven, Whirlpool Cooktop, Whirlpool refrigerator, Whirlpool Dishwasher, and are almost done with our kitchen! In our house the kitchen is the heart of the home, especially now we’ve made the kitchen bigger. I honestly never thought the day would come when we actually saved enough money to add on over 1500 square feet, and remodel the rest of our home. My advise to anyone is, you can do it, keep your head up, and spend wisely. My husband and I started saving up when we bought this house, because Bud and Vayda’s mom had passed away and we knew we were going to need more room. Now that we have little Mattie things are only more crowded, and Shawn and I are planning another baby once the house is done. Which should be right before the holidays. I cannot tell you how excited I am.
I would have had another baby right away, lol. I love being mom, and now that I’m blessed with the opportunity to stay home with them I want one more. In all honesty I would take 6 more, but one should be okay because that will make 5 kids running around the house lol. Anyway, we have to finish our home before we can even think about another child, because as it is now we need to finish the kitchen, den, and do small things around the house to finish everything. It’s been a year, but I couldn’t be happier – especially having a double oven for when the holidays roll around.
I’m going to be honest, and don’t tell my husband, but my favorite part of the remodel is the appliances. I mean don’t’ get me wrong the space is amazing, but looking into the kitchen and seeing appliances I can be proud of makes me want to host more parties, and with the double oven I can finally have Christmas and Thanksgiving and not stress about how I’m going to get everything in the oven.
The holidays are hectic, there is so much to worry about – family, friends, gifts, and cleaning. Oh, don’t forget cooking, and entertaining guests – especially out-of-town guest who come a few days early. Why not make cooking easier with some of the latest appliances technology – induction cooking, which allows you to boil water in less than two minutes like the Frigidaire FGIF3061NF. Did you know inductions reduces clean up time too? Yes, it sure does, because spills don’t burn on. The Frigidaire range includes an amazing convection oven, which works to circulate the air in the oven to speed up baking time.
Then there is the beautiful double oven, which I love because you can cook two dishes, at two different temperatures. The Whirlpool WGG555S0BS even fits in the space your standard range fits! That’s a lot of oven, and it’s amazing it will fit where your standard range does.
I went with the double oven, because I love that I can cook two dishes at the same time, and they do not need to cook at the same temperature. Plus, I love how it circulates the air for faster baking. I cannot wait to get our kitchen half way organized so I can make something.
