With four children, I love it when things are easy, especially breakfast and snacks like these chocolate peanut butter breakfast balls. I make these breakfast balls all the time, several different ways, but this was the first time I used Nesquik chocolate powder, and OMG, they are super good! A huge hit, an awesome quick breakfast I can prepare the night before, and a filling snack.
Not only do my kids love eating these before school and for an occasional after-school snack, but they also enjoy spending time with Mom learning how to make all my secret recipes. They are so cute, and they work so hard when we are in the kitchen.
My kids love helping me in the kitchen, and I welcome the help as well as the company. Cooking is more fun when you have someone to chat with, especially when they are as crazy as my kids. Oh, they make me laugh all the time. I love spending time with my kids, and I’m thankful they enjoy cooking with Mom.

Mattie and I spent a little time in the kitchen yesterday making them (shh, my kids don’t know it’s good for them lol). We had a whole lot of fun, and I have to say Mattie is quite the little breakfast ball roller and creator. She did most of the work, and they turned out to be a HUGE HIT!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Breakfast Balls with Chia Seed
The great thing about this recipe, other than the fact it’s super quick and easy, is that you can customize it to include things you like. Skip the cranberries and add almonds; it doesn’t matter; have fun with it and enjoy.
- 2 cups oats
- 1/3 cup Nesquik Chocolate
- 1 tablespoon Coconut oil
- 4 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
- 1 cup peanut butter
- ½ cup honey
- 1/2 cup cranberries
- 1/2 cup coconut
Let’s make these super yummy chocolate peanut butter breakfast balls with chia seeds:
Combine dry ingredients in a blender and mix for 30 seconds.
Add the rest of the ingredients and blend for 1-2 minutes or until completely mixed.

Roll into balls. You can make them as small or big as you like.

- Repeat until finished.
Mattie did such a good job, and it didn’t take her all day, lol. Normally I have to speed her up because she lives by the rule that the cook gets to try everything they make. I guess that is the sweetest part of being in the kitchen.

Tell me this girl doesn’t look like one happy camper. She got out of cleaning her room to help Mom, ended up taking over, making some yummy breakfast balls, and still got a big old glass of Nesquik chocolate milk. DANG, lucky duck!
