We love our dogs, and they need a nice comfy place to sleep too. Before my husband and I were married, Skittles slept in my bed with me. He has his own little blanket he slept on to avoid getting hair all over the place, and he loved it. - Sleeping style – Believe it or not, dogs sleep differently. Skittles sleeps just like his mom (me) all over the darn place. Piper a dainty sleeper, legs crossed out in front of her. She needs a big bed, with plenty of room for her to sleep comfy. Noodles is a well BIG sleeper, and Trip sleeps like his big brother Skittles. You’ll want to choose a bed that allows them to sleep the way they like. Some dogs like to sleep with the walls of the bed curled up around them. Lucky for us, and not so lucky for Skittles that all the dogs want to sleep on his new bed.
- Size – Of course we want to consider the size of our dog before choosing a bed. While Skittles will try to smash himself into a little bed, we want him to have the opportunity to sprawl out all over the place just how he likes to sleep.
- Where will bed go – When choosing a dog bed you will want to consider where it will go. Unless of course your dog is like Skittles and moves his bed from room to room. See I told you he is spoiled rotten.
- Color – You can match your décor.
- Washing – Of course washing the bed is going to be important. Be sure the bed can easily be washed.
- Budget – I don’t’ know about you, but I cannot spend too much on a dog bed. The dog bed from Tall Tails was perfect for our every need.

Another place he will take it when he is upset is in my oldest daughter’s room. This would be where he tends to wallow in self-pity with my teenager lol. Dogs, they are too much fun. 
Now the only thing he has to get over is the fact that Piper loves the bed too. He will not share it with her so she has to sneak a nap when she can lol. My personal favorite thing about the bed is that it’s washable.
