There’s nothing like Purina Beggin Strips for pups!  Well, my pups love them, and I love to reward them with Beggin Strips®.  I spend a lot of time working with my dogs, teaching them to sit, stay, and lay down, and one of them even knows how to die when I shoot him with my hand and make a gun noise.  They are eager to learn new things, but mostly because they know they get Purina Beggin Strips for their awesome tricks.  I used to use these little bones as treats, but the dogs didn’t enjoy them as much as the Beggin Strips, and I don’t blame them.  If I were a dog, I know I would rather have Beggin Strips.

Our newest pup, Trip, is mastering wearing a diaper at night, lol.  He is a great sitter and does well with laying down too, but for some reason he wets the bed.  Trip and my youngest daughter are the best of friends in their little diapers, lol. It’s great because Mattie and her puppy wear the same size diapers, and Mattie loves to spoil her dog Trip with Purina Beggin’ Strips®.  I have had to put them up high because she will give all of them to him just for being cute! I asked my dogs which ones they wanted, and they all agreed that all of them were yummy, but they couldn’t live without the bacon flavor.

My 10-year-old Pitbull, Skittles, is the master of all tricks.  He knows how to sit, stay, roll over, lay down, run and die, get your bowl, and how to get himself a can of food out of the cabinet. At one point, I was going to teach him how to grab me a bottle of water out of the fridge, but then I realized that if I taught him how to get in the fridge, we would have no food left.  Which is why I decided to stick to the cabinet with only the canned goods; I know I can trust him with those.

OMG, then we have Noodles, the dingy Rottweiler.  She’s a great sitter and works hard on everything else.  Piper’s lab is a natural; I think it’s the lab in her.  She knows what she has to do to get her Beggin’ Strips®.  She will come up next to you while you’re cooking and lay down, roll over, and bark at you until you notice she is doing tricks because she wants a treat!  I think it’s safe to say she is addicted to her treats, lol.

We love our dogs!  Sure, they are a little spoiled, but they deserve it.  They do anything and everything we ask of them, and most importantly, they love my kids.  All of the dogs will protect those kids.  Whether it’s from a scary lizard or someone they don’t know coming into the yard,.  If the kids are outside, I know they are safe when the dogs are with them.

I got so excited telling you about all the tricks my dogs can do that I almost forgot to tell you that, right now, you can nominate your dog’s 3 favorite varieties of Beggin’ Strips® at the Purina® brand website: Nom-Nom-Nominate.  Pretty cool, right, Speak up for your pup and let Purina® know which variety of Beggin’ Strips® they cannot live without!

Choose between:

  • Beggin Strips® Bacon Flavor
  • Beggin Strips® Bacon and Cheese Flavors
  • Beggin Strips® Thick Cut Hickory Smoked Flavored
  • Beggin Collisions Bacon and Peanut Butter: Natural & Artificial Flavors
  • Begin CollisionsTM Bacon and Cheeseburger Flavors

I asked my dogs which ones they wanted, and they all agreed all of them were yummy but they couldn’t live without the Bacon flavor.  You can pick up your put some Beggin Strips from your local Sams Club.

Begging Strips bring back memories. I had the sweetest Boston Terrier. She had to have her beggin Strip everyday when I came in. She could’ve mad a commercial for them

Our dogs all love the bacon flavor too. Our smallest who also happens to be the oldest, when she wants a treat she will come up to you and start barking. We say she is talking to us. We have learned the difference between her telling us that she wants a treat or if she want to go outside. She won’t be quite util you give her the treat.
