Halloween Freaky French Toast Recipe

  • 1 cup of TruMoo Orange Scream milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 1 loaf of challah bread
  • 3 tablespoons of butter (divided)
  • Confectioner’s sugar
  • Maple Syrup (optional)

1.) In a large mixing bowl combine eggs, milk, orange peel and cinnamon and blend.

2.) Slice challah bread into 1-inch-thick slices

3.) Using a 12-inch skillet over medium heat, melt only 1 tablespoon of butter.

4.) Dip your bread into the mixture of milk.

5.) Allow to soak on each side for about 30 seconds.

6.) Add butter to skillet; over medium heat, cook bread until it’s a pretty golden brown color (about 4 minutes on each side of the bread).

7.) Repeat with remaining butter and bread until gone.

8.) Once you’re finished, dust with confectioners sugar and serve with yummy, warm maple syrup.
