This post is about how much we love our dogs, the importance of dog by purchasing quality FDA dog treats. I have had dogs in my life as far back as I can remember, without them I would not know what to do. We have four dogs now, each is a valued member of the family, and loves our kids as much as my husband and I do. They are amazing, and I know without a doubt, my dogs will do whatever it takes to be sure my kids are taken care of. If they are playing in the yard, and I turn my back for 2 seconds I know there is a dog watching over them. Oh, and if someone they don’t know tries to talk to our kids. Well, let’s just say they will not allow it to happen.
Our dogs are loved back, more than they will ever know, and this is why we will pay attention to what we give them, especially when it comes to FDA dog treats. It’s funny, but all our friends and family know if they find an animal in need of a home, Jenn and Shawn will take good care of it. They know we will keep it, because we get attached easily. They know we will raise it as one of our own, love it, feed it, take it for walks, play with it in the backyard, there is a whole gang of kids for them to play with, and plenty of room for them to run around.
I am going to be honest. I stole Skittles from a friend of mine’s mother. I went over to her house one day, there was only one puppy left because the others had died, from neglect I am sure. I had seen Skittles several times and always felt sorry for him, but this time it was different. He didn’t look right, he was only 6 weeks old, and he looked like he was so worn down. He didn’t get up to play, and the look on his little face was heartbreaking. It was obvious he was sick, and nobody cared. While my friend ran down to talk to her mother, I grabbed the puppy, put it in my car, and took it home to my mom. I didn’t know what to do, I was only 18, but I knew if we didn’t do something he would die. So I took him to my mom, she has a way with dogs, and right away she made him an appointment at the vet. We were told he had worms so bad she was surprised he was still alive. She kept telling us what a lucky little guy he was.
At the end of the day I know I shouldn’t have stolen him, but I don’t think he would be alive today. You know something else, he is by far one of the best dogs I have ever had. It’s crazy, but dogs know when you have removed them from a horrible situation, and they will spend the rest of their years showing you how grateful they are. That’s what I love about animals, they love unconditionally, 100%, no matter what. When you have nothing, and nobody they will be there every step of the way just the same as you where there for them.
The sad thing is nobody even missed the puppy. Several weeks later I asked my friend what happened to the puppy, and her response was, “oh yea the puppy. I don’t know maybe my mom got rid of it or something.” Oh, well their loss because he has been my bestie for the past 10 years, and man does he love Nudges®! Oh, and ignore the makeup. My toddler decided to have fun with her sisters eyeliner, lol. Skittles loves the attention.
Piper, our Labrador came from a home who didn’t have time for her, and was going to take her to the pound. So my daughter and I got in the car, drove three hours, and picked her up. I hate seeing any dog at the pound, and I already knew Piper. She has always been such a sweet dog, who loves kids. Yes, Piper loves to have her makeup done too.
Can you tell by looking at this picture of Trip whom he bonded with? YUP, Mattie! A friend of our brought Trip our blue nose pit to us, he was found running the streets, and our friend promised the dog catcher he would find him a good home if he didn’t take the pup. We have had him for almost a year, and he has been such a great addition to our family.
Noodles, our huge Rottweiler was given to my husband. While he was at work a man walking down the road noticed someone was in the building. He walked up to my husband, asked him if he would give his puppy a good home because he had not feed the puppy in two days because he was in a bad stop and couldn’t afford her.
My husband said it broke his heart to take her, because he could tell how much the man loved her, and he was very honest about what wrong with her was, and how worried he was about her health. She was covered from head to toe in ticks. To be honest I had never seen anything like it, after 6 baths, hours with tweezers we could see a huge improvement, but there was still ticks. It took us 2 days, and a flea dip just to be sure to get all the ticks off her. Oh, and don’t forget about the trip to the vet to be sure she did not have lime disease, or anything else wrong with her. Thankfully, when it was all said and done she was okay. 
I went to Walmart to get a few things for our Memorial Day mini vacation, and picked up some Nudges® dog treats. I am going to be honest. After learning more about Nudges®, and seeing how much my dogs enjoy them. I feel bad for not putting a lot more thought into what treats I am giving my dogs. Typically I do not give them a lot of treats, but I need to focus on Noodles and Trip’s listening skills, lol. Now, don’t get me wrong. They are great dogs, who would never hurt a fly, but they need to listen better before I can take them with the other dogs to the river. 
Since it is summer, and I am finally home full-time it’s my goal to have Noodles and Trip at the river with the other dogs by the end of summer. Last year they had to stay home, because I was worried they would run off. This year, by the end of the summer they will be going swimming at the river with the other dogs, especially since they LOVE Nudges®Wholesome Dog Treats so much. I cannot wait, she is going to love playing in the water, and swimming with the other dogs. 
Skittles and Piper are GREAT, but we have had them a bit longer too. So they are better behaved when we go places like the river. I can even trust Skittles and Piper with my ducks, and they even lookout for them, lol. It’s really cute. Skittles thinks they are his ducks.
