In a large mixing bowl, combine instant pudding and milk, then beat using your mixer or wire whisk until thickened.

Spoon about ½ of the mixture into another bowl and tint using food coloring to a dark shade of orange.

When you’re ready to serve spoon ½ of the original color pudding (light orange) into two tall dessert glasses or bowls, layer with the dark orange pudding and top each with whipped cream.  Place into refrigerator until they are ready to serve.
