My daughter, like so many other children, has an incredible imagination; she loves to play dolls, and, of course, she is a huge fan of Frozen.  Elsa is her favorite, but she loves Anna too. There are times that I sit and listen to the adventures she goes on when she plays dolls, and I admit I’m a little jealous because she goes on some amazing journeys.  Talk about a way to escape reality for a bit.  I still have my imagination, but gosh, it’s nothing like hers.  She can turn two twigs into a battleship and send someone to walk the plank.

Since children have such a fantastic imagination, I try to teach my kids just how wonderful reading can be from an early age.  Once they figure out that reading can be a vacation from their everyday life, and they can go on an adventure to another land if they want, reading is fun.  I still remember when I figured out just how awesome reading was.  It wasn’t until I was older and I found a book that I loved and couldn’t put down that I learned about the excellent places a book can take us, and I want to share this with my children.

We have received personalized books in the past, and the personalized Frozen book is by far our favorite.  It’s a quality book, with a great story that is much longer than a few pages, and the story is great.  Mattie has read her book enough that she is starting to memorize it.  Okay, so she makes it for her dad, and I read it to her, but she loves it and seriously almost has it memorized.

Disney’s Frozen Adventure in Arendelle personalized book allows you to create a character that looks like your little one.    When personalizing your book, you’ll be able to select the child’s gender, hair color, eye color, skin tone,  as well as hairstyle.  You’ll also be able to add the child’s name to the story and even add your name to the dedication page and the book cover.  Kind of cool, right?  Okay, you’re right, it’s AWESOME, and they’ll always remember you had this special gift created just for them.  Mattie noticed right away that the character looked like her; I guess I did good.

One of my personal favorite parts of the book is in the very beginning, the dedication page, where you add your name so they can always remember that personalized book you gave them and the excellent adventure they went on with Anna & Elsa.
